So this is what it is like to live in North Dakota . . .

I'm sure real North Dakotans would say this is nothing . . . but this is impressive for Nebraska.


Some pics of our lovely weather.

Our car buried at the airport when we flew in.  The entire back end was covered.




Snow removal in our parking lot.  That's right - they have to pile the snow into containers and haul it out of the city. 




The temp gauge on the car this morning.  1 degree.  It was -24 with the windchill according to the Weather Channel.




Snow on campus.




A nice touch - snow banks slowly creeping up to cover my office window in the library.
