Time to Thaw Out

Julianne and I are going down to Arizona this weekend - I'm leaving Thursday AM and Julianne Friday AM. We'll come back to Lincoln on Monday evening. It will be a short trip, but we're excited for the 60 degree weather. We'll also get to see Julianne's family, who we didn't see over the holidays. There are some other exciting things on the agenda as well, but more on that later.

Its a Girl, a human girl!

Here she is! We just found out today that our baby is a girl. Wow. The reality of this whole becoming a parent thing is REALLY starting to sink in now. Needless to say, we are VERY excited!

Candidacy!

Good news everyone! I just found out last night that I officially passed all of my comprehensive exams! Woo hoo! That means that I am now a Ph.D. candidate. In other words, I have done everything but my dissertation. Granted, that is probably the hardest phase, but I'm excited to be there. It will be nice to say that I'm ABD. Finally!!!
